My top 100 horror films (25-1)

The 25 Top Horror Movies

25. Jaws (1975, Directed by Steven Spielberg)

24. Zombie 2 (1980, Directed by Lucio Fulci)

The top 25 of the 100 Top Horror Movies List starts out with some heavy-hitters of the horror genre. The shark in Jaws is as focused on killing as any slasher, Fulci's Zombi 2 gives us the eye-jab, Anne Rice came to the big screen with Interview with the Vampire, evil visions reign in The Eye and a God-fearing man becomes a demon hunter in Frailty. Number 20 below, Dead Alive, is known as the goriest movie ever made based on gallons of blood used.

Dead Alive (1992) This guy is all broken up.

20. Dead Alive (1992, Directed by Peter Jackson)

19. The Howling (1981, Directed by Joe Dante)

18. The Decent (2005, Directed by Neil Marshall)

As you have seen there have been many Stephen King adaptions mentioned above such as The Shining, Carrie and Misery. George A Romero, I believe, is the most recurring director. This was the hardest year for me. I made alot of painful choices (*cough* Army of Darkness *cough*) but im pretty sure this is a helpful list for those looking for a horrific time.

  1. hey there, thanks for following my blog! thats so kind of you. when i read your profile, i was slightly uncomfortable that a 14 year old was following my blog. i was like oh shit, is someone going to call the pedo-bear on me!?!?! anyway, i'm following you too. i dig this site and i'm thrilled you love horror movies too. thats so funny you put the exorist and alien as your 1 and 2 cause thats so what i would have done. then my 3 would have to be that mutant chronicles movie with the zombie lobster claw people and that hot guy from puinsher.

the fight scenes are AMAZING!!! they zombies are so gory!! i loved it!! i'm not really even sure what the storyline is about but fight scenes are brilliant. its got a sci-fi futuristic, WWII, religious faith vibe going. the trailer donesn't do it justice.

thanks for thinking my blog is funny.

The Decent is scary especially if your a claustraphobic (secret shame). The whole film takes place in little tunnels under the surface.
